I've been trying to cut down on my carbon emissions too...I haven't been able to forgo the car entirely, but I do have a <a href="http://www.montaguebikes.com" title="Montague Folding Bikes" rel="nofollow">folding bike</a> that I ride as much as I can. It's nice because I feel like I can get a lot more places with it than a non-folding bike, since I can take it on trains and such.
