Front Door Adventures

I love adventures big, and I love adventures small. For a while now, I have been doing my best to live and recreate in a way that will leave something on this beautiful planet after I have rotted in the ground. Sometimes I fall short of my own ideals and admit that I am bundle of contradictions. Front Door Adventures started as a blog about seeking adventure close to home, and has morphed into something I can't explain. Hope you enjoy the ride and find a little inspiration in my words.

Matt
Seattle, WA, United States
I am a teacher and an aspiring adventurer/writer living in Seattle. I love my wife, my family, my students, bikes, exercise, mountains, climbing, skiing, good chocolate and strong coffee. I believe in kindness, peace, honesty, hard work, equal access to quality education and reducing our impact on this fragile planet we call home.
